Mod directory

Monster Hunter Wilds has no mod menu of its own: mods are files for the PC version on Steam, added to the game folder. Most run through REFramework, a script loader placed in the game folder, or are installed with Fluffy Mod Manager; each mod's Nexus Mods page names what it needs.

The title screen shows the installed game version, currently Ver. 1.042.00.02. A Title Update can stop mods made for an earlier version, and REFramework itself, from working. If the game does not start after an update, Capcom advises removing every mod and verifying the game files in Steam before launching again.
