モンスターハンターワイルズにはゲーム内のMODメニューはありません。MODはSteam版（PC）のゲームフォルダーに追加するファイルです。多くはゲームフォルダーに置くスクリプトローダーのREFrameworkで動くか、Fluffy Mod Managerで導入します。必要なものは各MODのNexus Modsページに書かれています。
タイトル画面にはインストール中のゲームのバージョンが表示され、現在はVer. 1.042.00.02です。タイトルアップデートの後は、以前のバージョン向けのMODやREFramework自体が動かなくなることがあります。アップデート後に起動しない場合、カプコンはすべてのMODを削除し、Steamでゲームファイルを確認するよう案内しています。
